NutriMill Enameled Cast Iron Cookware Review
NutriMill makes amazing grain mills, but how does their new enameled cast iron collection measure up? I put it to the test!
Watch me put these pans to the test in the video above!
What is NutriMill?
NutriMill is an American company based in Utah, that specializes in grain mills, mixers, small kitchen appliances and accessories related to bread and grains. Where they really shine is with their grain mills and their mixers.
From their website, “NutriMill is dedicated to creating high-quality small kitchen appliance products that function well, are easy to use, and promote healthy eating.”
In 2025 they launched their new line of enameled cast iron cookware, including a beautiful bread pan and Dutch oven.
What is Enameled Cast Iron?
Enameled cast iron is different than your regular cast iron.
After molten metals are poured into a mold and shaped into the Dutch oven, cast iron skillet, etc. it then is covered with a type of porcelain glass.
This creates a non-porous surface that can withstand high heats, cleans easily, and is naturally non-stick (if greased properly).
Putting Them to the Test
I cooked quite a few things to test out this Dutch oven as well as the bread pan. Obviously, as basic pans there aren’t a lot of product features to explore. Rather, what I was looking for was near perfection in function. How well do these pans do the job they are supposed to do?
Nutrimill Enameled Cast Iron Bread Pan
This pan has a 1.2 quart capacity, so it is going to give you a slightly smaller loaf than some other pans. It still makes them just the right size for sandwich bread, zucchini bread, etc.
The size is is practical, the handles easy to grip, and the weight feels very solid.
The inside is a beautiful, almost fresh cream color.
I’m going to tell you honestly, I struggled with this pan at first.
I had very serious sticking issues no matter what oil or type of bread I baked. I tried sourdough, zucchini, and a regular old sandwich bread. I tried coconut oil, olive oil, and butter. Each time the loaf stuck horribly.

I reached out to NutriMill and they could not have been nicer trying to troubleshoot the issue with me.
It turns out, I needed to seriously up my pan greasing.
Having used my Lodge cast iron bread pan with no issues in the past , I tried using the same amount of grease on the NutriMill pan. No go. I had to use about double the amount of grease for it to work.
I found butter seemed to work the best, and boy did it work great! The loaves practically slide right out of the pan.
It baked them evenly, browned them nicely, and washed up in a few seconds.
In terms of price, $30 does put this $10 more expensive than the Lodge cast iron bread pan, but that little bit extra is well worth it for the rich and beautiful tones of the enamel. If you’re looking for beauty and function this pan can’t be beat.

NutriMill Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
This Dutch oven has a six-quart capacity. It is the perfect size for making sourdough boules, roasts in the oven, or keeping on your stovetop to make soups and stews.
The handles are sturdy and easy to grip.
The color on the outside is a warm brown color, almost like a milk chocolate or a shiny acorn. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t wild about the color when I first opened it. Now I love it. It is warm and inviting and seems perfect for fall and winter months.
My favorite part of the pan is the brass handle on top. It is so beautiful and brings a touch of added elegance.
Like the bread pan, the Dutch oven can heat to 500 degrees F.
It also washes like a dream! I made spaghetti sauce from fresh tomatoes so they simmered in there for a LONG time. There was absolutely no staining and the whole pot wiped clean in a few seconds.
Lastly, coming in at $80 before taxes and shipping, it is a great bargain all home cooks can appreciate.

Final Thoughts
I love both the bread pan and the Dutch oven. In fact, I’ve had to rearrange my stove top so I can keep the Dutch oven on there at all times.
When I would have normally pulled out my All-Clad stainless steel, I find myself instead just using my Dutch oven for boiling water, making sauces, or even frying up taco meat.
They work well, wash easy, and look beautiful. Not to mention the price point is great!
The only thing I’d note to be aware of, is these are not dishwasher safe. They have exposed iron on the top rim of the pan (to avoid chipping I imagine) so they must be hand-washed.
If you’d like to grab your own NutriMill Enameled Cast Iron cookware you can find them here.
Unfortunately, I do not have a discount code that works on the cookware, but code ROUGHANDTUMBLE will get you $20 off orders of grain mills, Bosch mixers, and more!
